Bermata has been a student at The Pole Boutique since 2014 and began teaching pole in 2019. She started dancing in high school, completing SACE Stage 1 & 2 Dance in 2011 and has over 12 years of experience as a Wedding Dance instructor, along with a background in Latin/Ballroom, musical theatre and performances.
Beyond dance, Bermata is a degree-qualified Acupuncturist and Chinese Medicine Practitioner (BHSc Acupuncture Therapies) with a special interest in musculoskeletal and women’s health. She also holds a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification, integrating flexibility, strength, and injury prevention into her teaching. With a supportive and technical approach, Bermata empowers students to build strength, refine technique, and express their unique style—helping everybody feel strong and confident in their pole journey.
